Chen Shuhui was born in May 1963 and served as mayor of Lingwu City from November 2009 to May 2012.
Chen Shuhui's former partner Li Jianjun, secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, was announced to be investigated in May this year.Li Jianjun is also Chen Shuhui's former mayor of Lingwu.
From January 2009 to November 2009, Li Jianjun served as mayor of Lingwu for 10 months before he was promoted to secretary of the municipal party committee. It was Chen Shuhui who took over the mayor of Lingwu. After that, the two party and government teams partnered for two years.
