This is the second time an important official in the Chongqing police circle has been sacked after He Ting, the former party secretary and director of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau, was punished.

In October last year, He Ting, a former party member and deputy mayor of the Chongqing municipal government, and former party secretary and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, was expelled from the party and administratively dismissed for serious violations of discipline.
