Zhang Jianhua retired in February this year.He is a native of Yantai, Shandong, born in July 1954, and has never left Shandong for his official career. According to his public resume, he started working in December 1970 and was an official in his hometown Yantai for many years in his early years. He served as deputy secretary of the Zhifu District Party Committee of Yantai City, deputy secretary-general of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee, and served as the Yantai Municipal Party Committee in January 2001.Deputy Secretary, Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, Deputy Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor in February 2003. After graduating from graduate school in July 2008, 26-year-old Zhang Yilin came to Dongying City, where his father Zhang Jianhua was the mayor. Three months after his son was promoted to the county level, in February 2013, 58-year-old Zhang Jianhua resigned from the post of executive deputy secretary of the Provincial Political and Legal Committee and was transferred to the deputy chairman of the Internal Affairs and Judicial Committee of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress.
