However, an inspection organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment at the end of March this year found that some of the monitoring data of the six state-controlled air automatic monitoring stations in Linfen City were abnormal, and the sampling system was artificially disturbed. On May 30 this year, the People's Court of Yuci District, Jinzhong City sentenced 16 people involved in the crime of destroying computer information systems: the main criminal Zhang Wenqing was sentenced to two years in prison; the main criminals Zhang Ye and Zhang Yongpeng were sentenced to one year in prison.
Among the 13 accomplices, Cui Yongyong and Zhang An, former employees of Hebei Xianhe Science and Technology Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. who were in charge of the operation and maintenance of the monitoring station, were sentenced to 8 months and 6 months in prison respectively; the remaining 11 were sentenced to 4 to 6 months in criminal detention.A suspended sentence ranging from 8 months to a year.
