The verdict shows that during the Spring Festival period from 2012 to 2016, Li Hongwei (former secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Lingbao City, a city under the jurisdiction of Sanmenxia), went to the office of Zhao Haiyan, the mayor and secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Sanmenxia City, nine times in order to seek promotion.A total of 1 million yuan in cash was given to him.
