The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection's Party Style and Political Style Supervision Office changed its head again in more than half a year.Song Hansong, who previously served as director of the Fourth Bureau of the Supreme Procuratorate's Anti-Corruption and Bribery Bureau, has replaced Xiong Jingfeng as the director of the Party Style and Political Style Supervision Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

According to public information, Song Hansong graduated from the Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University in 1983. He has served in the Supreme Procuratorate for a long time.Member of the Committee, Director of the Office of Duty Crime Prevention, Director of the Fourth Bureau of the Anti-Corruption and Bribery Bureau of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (director-level).

With the start of the reform of the national supervision system, according to the plan for deepening the reform of the party and state institutions announced in March 2018, the duties of the Supreme Inspection Office for corruption and bribery, dereliction of duty, and prevention of duty-related crimes have been integrated into the State Supervisory Commission.According to the official website of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Supreme People's Procuratorate held a cadre meeting on February 23 to send off the transfer personnel of the General Administration of Anti-Corruption and Bribery.

Then, on April 27, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress approved the removal of Lu Xi and Song Hansong from their posts as members of the Supreme Procuratorate and Prosecutors.Lu Xi previously served as a deputy ministerial-level full-time member of the Supreme Procuratorate and Inspection Commission, director of the Anti-Corruption and Bribery Administration, and is currently a member of the State Supervisory Committee.Both were transferred from the procuratorial system to the discipline inspection front.

Before the current round of institutional reforms, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision set up the Party Conduct and Government Conduct Supervision Office (the State Council Office for Correcting Unhealthy Practices in the Industry) as one of its 27 functional departments.The responsibilities of the office include: comprehensively coordinating and implementing the supervision and inspection of the party's line, principles, policies and resolutions, national laws and regulations, etc.;Conduct special inspections on wind and political wind supervision; perform the functions of the State Council's office to correct unhealthy winds in the industry, etc.

Before Song Hansong, Yu Canzhu and Xiong Jingfeng successively served as directors of the Party Style and Political Style Supervision Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.In October 2017, Yu Canzhu was transferred to be the leader of the discipline inspection team of the party group of China South Industries Group Corporation; in December of the same year, Xiong Jingfeng, the former deputy director of the case trial room of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, made his debut as the director of the Party Style and Political Style Supervision Office.After a lapse of more than half a year, the Party Style and Political Style Supervision Office changed its leadership again.
