Ding Zhongli's successor is Academician Li Shushen.According to public information, in 1983, Li Shushen graduated from the Department of Physics of Hebei Normal University, and later received a master's degree from Southwest Jiaotong University and a doctorate from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences.In 2006, he served as the deputy director and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences.After being elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011, Li Shushen became a member of the party group and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in December last year.
