(Morning News) Kazakhstan President Tocaev said on Friday (January 7) that after a few days ago, the country's order had basically recovered.
The Ministry of the Interior of the Kazakhs said that the security forces have "strengthened protection" all areas of the country. Among the turmoil, 26 armed criminals were annihilated, more than 3,000 were detained, and 18 security forces were killed.
Agence France -Presse reported that Tocaev issued a statement after meeting with senior officials that law enforcement forces are working hard, and the constitutional order in all regions has been restored.He said that the authorities are supervising the situation, "but terrorists are still using weapons to cause damage to civilian property. Therefore, counter -terrorism operations will continue until they completely eliminate militants."
Tocaev confirmed that a peacekeeping forces at the collective security treaty (CSTO) headed by Russia have arrived in Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of the Interior said in a statement that 70 24 -hour inspection stations have been established across the country.
Kazakhstan has recently increased large -scale anti -government demonstrations in the capital Nur Sudan and the largest city of Alamu due to the increase in liquefied natural gas prices.The demonstrators rushed into the government building and fought fiercely with the police and the army, and the official reported that 748 security personnel were injured.
