The Dutch government Friday (December 23)The current Dutch Ambassador to the United States André Haspels is approved as the Dutch ambassador to China and nominated will officially take effect next summer.

According to the announcement of the Dutch government's announcement, a total of 24 ambassador nominations were approved on the day, one of which was to approve Haspels to serve as the Dutch ambassador to China.

Announcement stated that the above nominations will be officially effective next summer, and at the same time, in accordance with international relations, nominations will need to be approved by the host government.

Data show that Haspels is 60 years old. He graduated from the University of Liberty of Amsterdam in 1986. He joined the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1987.

From 2014 to 2019, Haspels has successively served as the deputy chief of the Political Department and Chief Political Chief Political Department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2019, the Dutch Ambassador to the United States has been the case.
