Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed that a Taiwanese who studied in Lebanon had taken the freighter evacuation arranged by mainland China.
With the continued heating in the Middle East, mainland China has launched the withdrawal of overseas Chinese from Lebanon.According to the WeChat public account of the "Consumer Consumer Dist", as of Wednesday (October 2), mainland China has evacuated 215 people, including one Taiwanese and three Hong Kong people.
According to the Taiwan United Daily report, the Taiwan Foreign Affairs Department said that Taiwan's representative office in Jordan also under the jurisdiction of Lebanon. Since the upgrade of the Lee situation in June, the representative office has been in contact with the six Taiwanese people in the Li Kingdom.And arranged to withdraw overseas Chinese, three of them are expected to return to Taiwan in early October, and the two choose to continue to stay in Li State due to family factors.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan said that another Taiwanese person had previously reported to the representative office that due to academic considerations and assessment of security should be temporarily unsuccessful, they decided to continue studying in Li State.However, the people temporarily decided to take the freighters arranged by mainland China at the end of September to leave Lebanon, and the relevant process representatives were mastered.
The Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Taiwan representative office in Jordan will continue to contact the diaspora, provide necessary assistance at any time, and continue to pay attention to the development of the regional situation.
