British Foreign Minister Cleverly conducts a formal visit to China on Wednesday (August 30).
According to the news released on Tuesday (29th) of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Cleverly visited China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference on Tuesday that as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and major global economies, China and Britain bear the common responsibility of promoting the development of world peace and stability.He emphasized that safeguarding and developing bilateral relations is in line with the common interests of the people of the two countries.
Wang Wenbin also said that during the time of Clever's visit to China, the two sides will communicate in depth on the relationship between Sino -British relations and international and regional issues that are concerned about.Enhance understanding and promote the stable development of Sino -British relations.
Wang Wenbin did not disclose more details about Clever's visit to China, including who he would meet with, how long he stayed, etc.
