China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. announced on May 16 that it eliminates the position of Wang Jiang's party committee secretary of the Everbright Group, and has another appointment.

Public information shows that Wang Jiang, 60 this year, is from Rushan, Shandong. He has about 20 years of banking experience.Wang Jiang entered the banking industry in 1999 and worked in the Shandong Branch of CCB in his early years.In July 2007, Wang Jiang was transferred to CCB Hubei Branch, promoted to the party secretary and president of the Hubei Branch, and worked here for more than three years.In March 2011, he was transferred to the party secretary and president of the CCB Shanghai Branch.

In March 2015, Wang Jiang left the construction bank and was transferred to the party committee member and deputy governor of the Bank of Communications.In July 2017, he was transferred to Jiangsu Province as the deputy governor.At the end of 2019, Wang Jiang returned to the banking industry and served as the President of the Bank of China.In January 2021, he returned to the CCB as the president of Construction Bank.

In March of last year, Wang Jiang took over Li Xiaopeng, who retired, and the party committee secretary of Guangda Group. The board of directors of Everbright Group also decided to pass Wang Jiang as the chairman of the group.
