(Beijing/Kiev Comprehensive News) The Chinese government Eurasian Affairs Special Representative Li Hui Visit Ukraine on Monday (May 15) and discussed the "political solution" on the Ukraine crisis.He was the highest -level Chinese official visiting Ukraine since the outbreak of the Russia -Ukraine War in February last year.

Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Wang Wenbin announced on Friday (May 12) that Li Hui will visit Ukraine, Poland, France, Germany and Russia to communicate with the Ukrainian crisis with all parties.The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not disclose a detailed itinerary.

Wang Wenbin said at the time that Li Hui was another embodiment of China ’s dedication to persuasion and talk, fully showing that China stands firmly on the peace side.

Prior to this, Chinese officials made a call with Ukrainian President Zernezki in late April.This is the first time that the two leaders have dialogues since the outbreak of the war.

Li Hui will visit Ukraine's highest -level Chinese officials since Russia invaded Ukraine last February.His visit was just when Ukraine began a big counterattack to recapture the territory occupied by Russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China did not disclose Li Hui's visit order of the above five countries.But Reuters quoted two sources familiar with the matter that Ukraine would be the first stop of Li Hui.A Ukrainian government official told AFP that Li Hui would visit Kiev on Tuesday (16th) and Wednesday (17th).

Since the outbreak of the Russian and Ukraine War, China has never condemned Russia's war against Ukraine, nor did it call Russia's "special military operations" as "aggression".This position has triggered criticism in Europe and the United States, questioning China's reliability as a conflict coordinator.
