At the performance meeting held on Thursday, Ashwani Gupta, chief operating officer of Nissan Motor, explained that the decline in sales was mainly affected by factors such as the production of epidemic in China, obstruction of logistics, and shortage of semiconductor.In the fourth quarter of 2022, Nissan's output fell 54.8%to 177,000 units in China.

China is the largest market in Nissan, with sales of more than one -third.Nissan car passenger car products are mainly produced and sold by joint ventures in China in China.Dongfeng Nissan's sales in recent years have fallen, and the annual sales of 2021 and 2022 fell 11.04%and 14.04%year -on -year, respectively.
