A report from South Korea shows that China's exports in the three major emerging industries are the world's leading world.
According to the Yonhap News Agency, a report released by the International Trade and Commerce Research Institute of the South Korean Trade Association on Wednesday (May 3) showed that based on 2021, the three major areas of the five emerging industries -—The new generation of semiconductor, new generation of monitors, and secondary batteries, China ’s exports account for 15.6%, 34%, and 33.9%of the global exports, respectively, all of which are the top of the list.
In addition to the above three industries, the five emerging industries also include biological health and electric vehicles.In 2021, the exports of these five major industries accounted for about 14%of the total exports of the overall industry.
From the perspective of the country, from 2016 to 2021, the five major emerging industries in China increased by 1.6 percentage points in the world, and Germany and Vietnam increased 0.9 and 0.7 percentage points respectively.On the contrary, the United States, Japan, and South Korea have fallen by 1, 0.6, and 0.1 percentage points.
Attention is that the gap between the export proportion of South Korea and China has continued to increase.In 2021, the exports of South Korea accounted for 5.4%and 13.5%, respectively, with a difference of 8.1 percentage points, an increase of 1.7 percentage points from 6.4 percentage points in 2016.
