China rejected the U.S.'s plan to extend the United Nations for Iran's weapon embargo on Thursday (14th). The United States threatened that if it cannot be extended, the UN Security Council may restore all sanctions on Iran.

According to Reuters, the U.S. Iranian special envoy Brian Hook publicly confirmed the US strategy on Wednesday.A US official said anonymously two weeks ago that the United States has informed Britain, France and Germany for the United States.

The Chinese Embassy in the United Nations stated that the United States withdrawn from the Iranian nuclear agreement in 2018 and failed to fulfill the obligations stipulated in the 2015 Security Council's resolution.

The agreement signed by the United States, Russia, China, Germany, the United Kingdom and France, which prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons while lift some sanctions on Iran. The agreement stipulates that if Iran violates the agreement, sanctions can be restored, including weapon embargo.

The Chinese Embassy in the United Nations issued a statement saying that the United States has no right to extend its arms for weapons for Iran, let alone triggering restoration of sanctions.Maintaining the Iranian nuclear agreement is the only correct path for progress.

According to the Iranian nuclear agreement, UN weapon embargo regulations will expire in October.

HOOK said that the United States has drafted a Security Council resolution extended to the Iranian weapon embargo. If the resolution is approved, nine votes are required, and Russia, China, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom cannot be rejected.
