(Morning News) Australia and Japan will sign the "historic" treaty at the Video Summit of the Leadership of Thursday (January 6) to further strengthen national defense and security cooperation between the two countries; this move may further intensifyIts tension with China.

Bloomberg reported on Wednesday that Australian Prime Minister Morrison issued a statement saying that the reciprocal account agreement will support the Australian Defense Forces and the Japanese Self -Defense Force for larger scale and more complex practical contact.The agreement will show that the two countries have promised to jointly respond to strategic security challenges and contribute to the security and stability of the Pacific Ocean in India.

This will be the first similar agreement since signing the US military status in Japan in 1960, and marks one step ahead of Japan and Australia to the "quasi -alliance" relationship.
