South Korean battery manufacturer SK On C. and the recycling company ECOPRO reached a cooperation with China Greenmime, and will jointly build a nickel processing plant in the Morowali Industrial Park of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.

According to Bloomberg, SK On Friday (November 25) stated that the factory will be put into operation in the third quarter of 2024, and the annual production of mixed hydroxide equivalent to 30,000 tons of pure nickel is hydroxidation.Nickel precipitation (MHP).This product is used to manufacture electric vehicle batteries.

The three companies signed an agreement on November 24, and planned to minimize nickel oxide from HENGJAYA ore in Morowali.
