The Russian Ministry of Defense said in the daily briefing: "The Ukraine uses the US -made multi -tube rocket system (HIMARS) to attack a pre -trial prison at Olenivka's settlement."The Ministry of Defense added that the attack caused 40 Ukrainian prisoners of war to be killed, 75 people were injured, and eight prison staff were also injured.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that these prisoners of war include the Ukraine who were trapped in the Aceka Steel Factory to defend the port city of Maliwol.
