(Morning News) Indonesian President Zoko Sky on Tuesday (July 26) set off for three days of visit to China, Japan and South Korea.
The Straits Times reported that Zako's first stop will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Beijing.Zoko is expected to meet with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
Zoko will be the first foreign head of China since the Beijing Winter Olympics in February this year.Since the popularity of crown disease, Xi Jinping has not visited abroad for more than two years.
Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Wang Wenbin said last Thursday that the leaders of the two countries will focus on in -depth opinions on bilateral relations and major regions and international issues.
He said: "China looks forward to further deepening the strategic mutual trust and pragmatic cooperation between the two parties through President Zoko, creating a model for mutual benefit and win -win development in the new era, models of common development, pioneer in South -South cooperation, pioneer in South -South cooperation"
Indonesia served as the Chairman of the G20 (G20) this year.
