(Morning News) Tan Desai, the director of the World Health Organization, will announce it on Saturday (July 23) to list whether the epidemic of the monkey acne is a global public health incident.
The WHO issued a statement on Friday that Tan Desai will give a speech at the online press conference at 9 pm Singapore Saturday time at 9 pm.
The WHO convened an expert urgent committee on June 23 to determine whether monkey acne constituted a global emergencies.However, at the time, the committee suggested that Tan Desai that the epidemic of the monkey acne has not reached the threshold for making this decision.
The WHO held a second meeting on Thursday during the further increase of monkey acne cases. Tan Desai expressed concern about the epidemic on the same day.Tan Desai said in this six -hour meeting: "I need your suggestions on evaluating the influence of recent and medium -term public health."

Monkey acne is a kind of human and animals suffering from viruses. Common symptoms include fever, severe headache, muscle soreness, back pain, lack of energy, lymph nodes, rash or skin damage.Most patients will recover within a few weeks, but there are severe symptoms or even death in patients.
At present, more than 16,000 people in the world have infected monkey acne, and most of the diagnostics are homosexuals or bisexuals.
