(Morning News) Former US Secretary of State Pompeo intentionally announced the candidate for the president and prepared to compete with former boss and former Republican President Trump.

Thames reported that Pompeo intends to run for the 2024 presidential election from Pompeo himself, and he has begun speeches and potential in the United States, New Hampshire and California.

Pompeo said: "We think we are suitable for standing in this position, and now it is also a proper time. We will go all out for this reason."

Pompeo also said that his wife Susan was the "closest consultant" of his campaign.

Pompeo, now 58, has served as director of the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States and served as Secretary of State during Trump as a president.
