The China Semiconductor Industry Association issued a statement on the official website that the scope of Japan's control items is too broad, far exceeding the list of international controlling items, which has caused great trouble for related companies.Vague expressions of the control object may affect the mature process supply chain, prevent export control expansion, reduce the number of controlling items, and avoid the interruption of the supply chain.
The statement also said that the control measures will bring great losses to the interests of related Japanese companies, and then lack sufficient profit to support its R & D innovation and technological iteration, weakening the competitiveness of Japanese companies in the international market.
The statement emphasizes that the Sino -Japanese semiconductor industry depends on and promotes each other.China has certain advantages in the fields of raw materials, components, and packaging in upstream, and has rich application scenarios and the largest semiconductor market for semiconductor products. Japan has advantages in semiconductor equipment, materials, specific semiconductor products, and hardware integration.
